Does anyone else find it suspect that National Oreo Cookie Day and National White Chocolate Cheesecake Day are on the same day as National Dentists Day?
So I decided to sleep in this morning and forgo my run. I just wasn’t feeling it. Of course, I then got up and took both of the dogs for a walk, separately, so that I could get out of the house for a good half hour. Apparently I need to be outside first thing in the morning whether I’m running or not.
I absolutely hate reading stories like this. It also reminds me of the time I was running in a local park and near the end of my run I heard something in the wooded area to my right and as I looked over I saw a guy in work out attire with his junk hanging out.
I just kept running but it pissed me off because even though it wasn’t obvious, I just knew he was doing it on purpose because there were porta potties located exactly 50 feet from where he was and I knew that there were little girls in the park as well. What the hell is wrong with these men? And is the punishment severe enough? Because I feel like most normal men would know that exposing themselves in any manner in a public park is just wrong. Period.
How bout this next article? Did anyone see this?
I do believe that running a marathon alone is not the best way to get into shape and I also think you need additional forms of exercise but I hate when I see articles like this because I think it discourages people from long distance running and of course I want everyone to love it as much as I do. It is an interesting article though and I do like HIIT workouts for strength training. What do you think?
Do you do HIIT workouts?
What do you think should be the punishment for someone who exposes themselves in public?
