This is one of those days…

The world was a beautiful place when I went to bed last night.

wonderful world

Let me back up a little and tell you why.  When we got home yesterday I received a package I had been waiting on and I was super excited to try it out in the morning.

Tyme Iron

Yep, I ordered the Tyme Iron and I could not wait to try it out but it would have to wait til morning.  So, after getting everything put away and spending some time with the family, I went to bed.

At precisely 3:45AM MacGyver woke me up because little Hank was puking on the side of the bed.  My side.

Oh boy

It wasn’t anything serious, he just ate too many jerky treats and his little tummy couldn’t take it.  It was contagious though because after I started cleaning it up, I threw up too.

I finally went back to bed at 4:15.  The alarm went off at 5:45 and I got up to get ready for a run.  I got Hank up to let him out to pee before getting ready and that’s when I realized it was pouring rain.  Literally pouring.

I took that as a sign and decided to go back to bed.  I didn’t realize that MacGyver was up and so he started talking to me.  I’m not fond of chattiness in the morning.  In case you wondered.

please shut up

So at 7AM I gave up and decided to get up and shower.  It was then that I remembered that I had the Tyme Iron and I got super excited again.  I couldn’t wait to try it out.  I quickly read the pamphlet that came with it and it seemed easy enough.  I also watched a quick little video just to make sure I understood how to use it.  Then I got down to business and started curling my hair.

bad hair

It’s going to be a bad hair day

I obviously missed something.  I’m a frizzy mess right now and I don’t even know how it happened.  I guess I need some more video tutorials.

I didn’t have time to fix it either because at precisely 8:40 this morning MacGyver reminded me we had to go to the accountants office to do our last quarter taxes.  Oh yay!

And that is how my day started.  It can only get better from here right?

Do you have the Tyme Iron?  If so, how do I use it?

Do you run when it’s pouring down rain?
