WTF Wednesday, it’s Mom’s day!

First off today…

Happy Birthday to my hero, my Mom!

It’s my goal in life to keep a smile on that face!  I love that woman so much!

I don’t have very much else to say today because I’m playing catch up.  Mostly because I’m busy but also because I’m nursing an injury.  Yep, A second one.

Like a fool I decided to go for a second bike ride last night and I followed MacGyver along a trail in which he decided to cut down a narrow sidewalk.  About two seconds after I asked him NOT to go that way because I didn’t feel confident enough to make it.

Yeah.  And so I crashed.  Again.  What is my problem?  Why am I such a klutz?  I just cannot get it?  UGH?  It’s not like I just started riding.  I’ve been riding my old bike for a long time.  I was going to go again this morning because they say the third times a charm but for me the third time would probably be a trip to the ER.

The bike is parked today.

WTF, it’s Wednesday and I’m doing yoga today because I really would like to have a leg tomorrow.

  1. Go out by yourself on a wide, well maintained surface. You don’t have to keep up with any one.. Go slow for a while, fast for short spurts, practice feathering the brakes, braking hard, standing up on the pedals with your butt off the seat.. you can do this.
