WTF Wednesday, Storms and Goats in Trees

Instead of my alarm clock this morning or the urgent needs of my bladder I awoke to the sound of torrential rain.  Serious rain.  Pounding, driving, I plan on flooding most of your backyard, overfilling the pond and flooding your streets kind of rain.  And it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

Tropical Depression number ?????

In case you’re wondering where Clearwater, Florida is, it’s where I live, of course.

You would think that all the rain would mean lots of time to catch up on my work but no.  Instead I’m pretty sure that just like yesterday I’ll be spending countless hours on the phone with my insurance agency trying to find out why they are refusing to pay for the MRI’s that they pre-approved and why they have decided to consider my co-payments as out of network instead of in network.

Insurance idiots

I’m inclined to believe that it’s because I’m so close to meeting my deductible that they don’t want to have to cover me at 100%.  I am determined that they will not win this battle, especially since the lab is listed as the number 1 option of approved and covered labs and I’ve already been there twice and they covered both visits.  I’m assuming they thought I wouldn’t notice either of these facts.

Dead Wrong

In light of all this and despite the fact that things have been a little stressful since returning home, I saw these little goats on the internet and they made my day.  And now, I want one.

Moroccan Tree Goats

Those are the tree goats of Morocco and they are so damn cute.  You can read about them here.  Imagine how much skill it must take to climb up into that tree but then if you’re hungry I guess you could do just about anything…or is that just me?

Wtf it is Wednesday and at least we only have 3 more months of hurricane season and I’m almost out of body parts to MRI, so there’s that….and Thursday is less than 24 hours away.

Tell me a WTF moment from your week.

  1. I seriously think you should probably build an arc, STAT. And the goats in the tree are hysterical… looks like they’re having a meeting or something.
