So, I woke up at 9:30 this morning. Nine freaking thirty!
That probably wouldn’t be so bad except that that’s exactly the time I went to bed last night on the PM side. So, yeah, I just slept for 12 hours… despite all my alarms. Multiple alarms!
In case you’re wondering, I don’t have a cold anymore and I’m not sick, well not in general anyway, but there is a reason that I overslept.
Do you know what is worse than sending me to a running store with unlimited cash? Me going to the grocery store AFTER Halloween when all the candy is 50% off.
Who spends $55.00 on half-off Halloween candy? ME!
I’m shocked I didn’t wind up in a diabetic coma because let’s be honest with each other, I ate about 10 pounds of chocolate and sugar yesterday. It was bad.
Do you know what my dinner consisted of? Reeses Peanut butter cups and Halloween chips ahoy chocolate chip cookies. I did manage to slide a glass of milk in there to keep my bones healthy, so there’s that.
That’s it. I’m done with candy for a while. I mean, Thanksgiving is what 3 weeks away? I’m staying clean until then.
