Yesterday I powered through a bunch of work that I needed to finish. That part was good. Sitting on the sofa all day was not. After 6 hours on my ass I felt the need to stretch a bit so I stood up and raised my hands overhead and then I bent over………..
Yeah so, I’m old.
It was about that time I made the rational decision to do something drastic, to feel a little un-old. I decided to do one of those kettlebell routines from YouTube. Only I decided to increase the weight because I’m so, you know, stupid badass.
I am lucky I can move today. I wonder sometimes how I managed to make it this far in life.
I also wonder how some other people manage to get so far in life. Like yesterday, when I went up to Publix to get a few groceries and regardless of the empty parking spaces, I had to park in the very back of the parking lot. Why? Because most of the idiots in the front half took up 2 spaces! I kid you not.

After seeing this meme, I have decided I need to carry chalk in my purse.
All those idiots parked in two spaces, tons of them. It was totally picture worthy and it could have probably gone viral except that I left my damn phone in the car and I couldn’t find it. I guess I should look on the bright side, it was the phone and not my keys, I lost those at the Lowes on Saturday.
Wait! Losing things is a side effect of old. Son of a bitch.
WTF, it’s definitely Wednesday!
So, how is your week going? (Extra points if you make me laugh!)
HA! I am right there with you. definitely feeling old. Especially last night, when during my soccer game, I felt like I recognized one of the guys on the other team, took me the whole game to realize he is Matthew Lillard, actor from late 90’s early 2000’s classics such as She’s All That, Scooby Do, and of course- Scream. He is looking as old as I am…. damnit. The good news is I totally beat him to the ball multiple times and blocked him from scoring often. Boom!
You blocked Stevo from SLC Punk! Girl, color me all kinds of impressed! 🙂 Love it.
Love that parking picture!! I too want to carry some chalk for all of those occasions! My husband always parks in the back, because “he loves his truck”. I don’t always love that truck 🙁
Take it easy on those kettleballs!!
What is it with men and their trucks? My husband is the same way, and he wont park near anyone. And in the future, I’m sticking with kettle corn! 😉
