This morning I ran a hot, sticky, sweaty 4 miles on the treadmill and I loved every minute of it. I also got in a weight workout last nite and tonite, whoa, I’m all over it. *Pat on back.
A few weeks ago I mentioned that I was working on my race calendar and that I’d be posting it in a few days. So finally I’ve put it all on paper and weeks later I’m ready to post it because, you know, I’m all punctual like that. It’s a little ambitious and I’m thinking I may have to change a few things but in its infancy, here is the schedule:
July 4, 2013 – Kiwanis Midnight Run 10K – Dunedin
August 18, 2013 – Sea Dog Brewery 5k – Clearwater
September 15, 2013 – Hooters for Hooters 10k – Clearwater
October 13, 2013 – Pretty in Pink 15K – Clearwater
October 27, 2013 – Frankenfooter Half Marathon – New Port Richey
November 3rd, 2013 – Blue Moon Half Marathon – Palm Harbor
November 24, 2013 – Womens running half marathon – St. Petersburg
December 1, 2013 – Florida Space Coast Marathon – Cocoa Beach (not sure about this one)
December 15, 2013 – Florida Holiday Halfathon – Madiera Beach
December 28, 2013 – Dog Dash for Dart Half Marathon– New Port Richey
Anyone else ever run 2 halfs and a full in one month? I’m mean, any sane person? Yeah, I know, I said ambitious right? I probably meant nuts! So, we’ll have to see how this goes….especially since I’m using this training plan:
