Yesterday I actually convinced MacGyver to go on a bike ride, no really, heres the blurry proof:
We rode through Safety Harbor and down to the Marina. MacGyver is a much better biker than me. We rode 6.5 miles in about 42 minutes. Mostly, I struggled to keep up and take pics until I almost dropped my phone off the pier, so I decided to forgo the picture taking and the hubby took a pic of me instead.Yeah, I know, it’s a tough life. I have to run and ride by the Gulf of Mexico like every day! It’s torture!
We also took a ride over to the neighbors. He raises exotic birds. Last nite we saw a ton of peacocks and an emu.
And yes, I took the pictures through a barbed wire fence because if you know me, you also know that I’m sorta afraid of large birds, or rather their beaks. Peacocks sure are pretty though. I had no idea the white ones, (I think they’re called peahens), had all those plumes too. Just incredible. My neighbor must have over 100 of them.
Tomorrow morning we are headed out to our cabin in Holopaw and since there is no electricity except what we power by the generator, that means no cell phones or computers, so it looks like I’ll catch up with you next week.
What are you doing this weekend?
